On 28th June; in the otherwise serene lake city of Udaipur; two Muslim assailants ruthlessly beheaded a Hindu tailor over his social media post allegedly supporting the remarks of the now dismissed BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma on Prophet Mohammad that caused an international stir. This incident has led to the blow up of communal tensions that were otherwise beneath the surface.
