Backyard's Banyan Tree
In the backyard of my
house
There is a person who
is always drowse
He can’t walk nor is free
Well he is backyard’s
banyan tree
I talk to him and
share my views
He patiently listens,
and never has an excuse
He is my bestie and
loves me
Well he’s backyard’s
banyan tree
But why do I speak to
and talk with someone about my fate
Who can’t get me
clearly and is inanimate
But he is special
because of some mystery
What mystery is of backyard’s banyan tree
The mystery is that
there is no one to talk
To laugh with or love
or to mock
As human interaction
has come to an end
Their interaction is
restricted by likes, chats and sends
Their eyes are stuck
to screens, their mind is engaged in phones
So whom shall I talk
to then, is world a NO SPEAKING ZONE
I find only one
person to talk with, the one who is always freezed
He is my beloved
backyard’s banyan tree
At least it remains where it is, and carefully listens the
story of my life
Not like humans who just ignore me and make interaction a
tremendous strife
Sometimes I think that are humans like these, who are said
to have a gift to interact
Well I am bewildered in such situations, we surely must
check on this fact
Technology has now surpassed true interaction, now only one
person is there for me
Well he is none other than, backyard’s banyan tree!!
